Ashoka blames Pakistan’s ‘DNA’ for terror, honors slain Bharat Bhushan

Bengaluru, Apr 24: After laying wreaths at Bharat Bhushan’s home in Mathikere, Karnataka’s Leader of Opposition R.?Ashoka delivered a scathing rebuke of Pakistan, asserting that terrorism is woven into its very fabric and will cease only when the country fractures.

Ashoka denounced the Pahalgam massacre as “sadistic” and “cultural,” targeting Hindus with chilling precision. “These killers asked victims their faith before pulling the trigger,” he told reporters, warning that no Indian family can feel secure until such threats are eradicated.

Recalling Bhushan’s final moments, Ashoka’s voice broke as he described the plea of a father begging for mercy for his three year old son, only to be executed with a shot to the head. “The image of his wife cradling their child beside his bleeding body will haunt us forever,” he said.

In private, Ashoka spent half an hour with Bhushan’s relatives, hearing firsthand how the son had reassured his worried mother that “the days of violence are over” and that Kashmir had become safe. Now, Ashoka vows, Bhushan’s memory will live on in his neighborhood—a park near his home is set to be renamed in his honor, with strong backing from both local MP and MLA.

“As a nation, we must unite against these atrocities,” he urged, praying for the family’s strength and pledging to channel their grief into collective resolve against terror.
