Kadaba, Apr 29: A group of youths displayed reckless behaviour by sitting on the doors and roof of a moving car, obstructing other vehicles and causing traffic disruption on the night of April 27 in Kadaba.

The incident took place along the Kadaba–Uppinangady state highway, stretching for about 15 km from Kadaba to Alankaru. According to public complaints, several cars and two-wheelers were driven in violation of traffic rules, continuously honking loudly and causing nuisance.

Supporting evidence in the form of two video clips has surfaced and is being widely shared on social media. The footage shows individuals dangerously positioned in and on moving vehicles.

Members of the public have informed the police about the incident.

A similar case was recently reported in Sullia, where individuals involved in such stunts were booked under a suo motu case by the police and later arrested. Citizens have now urged the police department to take this latest incident seriously and initiate legal action. It is learned that the police have begun the process.
