Udupi, May 2: Dr Shiran Shetty, professor and unit head of the department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, and deputy medical superintendent, has successfully completed the "Current new concept of endoscopy" International Endoscopy Training Course, held at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, Shanghai, China.
The training focused on the latest advancements and innovative techniques in gastrointestinal endoscopy, equipping participants with cutting-edge skills and global best practices. Dr Shetty’s accomplishment reaffirms his commitment to bringing the highest standards of care, technology, and research to patients.

Further strengthening the institution’s mission, Kasturba Hospital will soon be launching its liver transplant services under Dr Shiran Shetty’s leadership.
