Gaza, May 3: At least 32 Palestinians have been killed and many more injured following Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, according to the Gaza Civil Defence. The airstrikes targeted various locations, including a charitable hospice near the Abdel-Al Junction in Gaza City, which left six dead and many injured. Another raid on a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood resulted in two deaths.

In the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahia, six were killed in an airstrike on a funeral home for the al-Masri family, and in the central Gaza al-Bureij refugee camp, nine people died after an airstrike hit a home belonging to the Abu Zeina family.

Further south, two people were killed in a civilian gathering strike near Khan Younis, while five others died in airstrikes on Rafah and Khan Younis areas.

The Israeli army has not yet responded to these incidents. Gaza Health Authorities reported that, since Israel resumed military operations on March 18, over 2,326 Palestinians have been killed and 6,050 injured.

The conflict in Gaza began after a Hamas attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which led to significant casualties, including 251 hostages, with 59 still held captive.
