Ullal Netravati old bridge reopens after repairs, public relief as traffic normalises

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru

Mangaluru, May 3: After a month-long closure for repair works, one of the Ullal Netravati bridges was reopened to vehicular traffic on Saturday morning, bringing much-needed relief to the public.

The bridge had been closed since April 1 for maintenance, during which time only one side of the new bridge was available for traffic.

This had caused severe congestion in the area, especially for vehicles travelling between Kerala and Mangaluru.

With the reopening, both the bridges are now accessible for vehicles heading towards Kerala and Mangaluru, easing traffic flow and putting an end to the hardships faced by commuters and motorists over the past month.
