Future terror attacks will be treated as act of war: India warns Pakistan

New Delhi, May 10: In a stern message to Pakistan, India has declared that any future act of terror from across the border will be treated as an act of war, inviting strong military retaliation. The warning comes as Pakistan has been targeting Indian civilian and military areas with drone and missile attacks over the past three nights—most of which were intercepted by India's air defence systems.

The escalation follows the killing of 26 tourists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam by Pakistan-linked terrorists, prompting India to launch precision strikes on terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir under Operation Sindoor.

Sources revealed that elements of the Pakistan Army, particularly the ISI, were found backing terrorists with logistics, shelter, and training. On May 7, Pakistani troops were even seen defending terror sites targeted by Indian missiles.

“Despite international appeals, Pakistan has done little to dismantle these camps. This amounts to active collaboration with terrorists,” Indian officials said.

India warned that any future attacks including bombings, hijackings, cyber or chemical strikes will be met with full force. The country is also working to expose what it calls Pakistan’s ‘double game’ of promoting peace abroad while sheltering terrorists at home.
