New Delhi, May 13: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of the Class 12 board exams, with 88.39% of candidates successfully clearing the exams. The pass percentage this year marks a slight increase from last year's figure of 87.98%.
In a notable achievement, girls have once again outshone boys with a pass percentage of 91.64%, surpassing the boys' pass percentage, which stands at 85.70%.

Transgender candidates have also made significant progress, recording a 100% pass rate this year, a remarkable improvement from last year's 50%.
A total of 1,11,544 students have secured more than 90% marks, while 24,867 candidates have scored above 95%. However, over 1.29 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category.
This year, a total of 16,92,794 students appeared for the Class 12 examinations, reflecting a massive participation in the board exams.
