Puttur: Bharat Co-op Bank to Open 41st Branch on Jan 27

Puttur, Jan 23: The 41st branch of Mumbai-based Bharat Co-operative Bank, a multi-state co-operative bank, will be inaugurated here on Friday January 27.  It will be the eighth branch in Karnataka and fourth branch in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.  The bank already has four branches in Bangalore, two branches in Mangalore, and one branch in Udupi.



Bharat Co-operative Bank is promoted by Billawar Association, a fast growing financial institution in Mumbai, with aggressive plans to open branches nationwide.

The bank's deputy general manager Nityanand D Kotian, assistant general managers Prabhakar G Suvarna and Vasudev M Salian, and manager Suraj Kumar Poojary were present on behalf of the board of directors at the press meet.
