Bantwal, May 23: In a heart-breaking incident, a man who was busy preparing for his wife's baby shower collapsed at home and passed away on Friday in Kanyana, near Vittal.
The deceased has been identified as Satish (33), a pick-up vehicle driver and resident of Mittanadka in Kanyana. His wife’s baby shower ceremony was scheduled for Friday, May 23.
Satish reportedly collapsed at home on Friday and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. He was later referred to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment, where he reportedly breathed his last, according to family sources.
The house, which was filled with joy in anticipation of the baby shower, is now engulfed in mourning. The exact medical cause of his death has not yet been determined.
