Mangaluru: Two missing after country boat capsizes near Tota Bengre

Mangaluru, May 30: Two individuals have gone missing after a country boat capsized near Alive Bagilu in Tota Bengre on Friday, May 30.

The incident occurred while they were fishing near Tota Bengre Alive Bagilu when strong winds and heavy rain caused the boat to overturn. The two occupants of the boat went missing following the mishap.

The missing individuals have been identified as Yashavanth and Kamalaksha.

The petrol tank of the country boat was found washed ashore near Tota Bengre. The boat itself is yet to be traced. It is reported that local residents have begun search operations.

    I must be made compulsory to wear life jacket while fishing otherwise they must be fined heavily or cancel the license, this will their save lives.
