Sudheer Kumar Reddy takes charge as Mangaluru city police commissioner

Mangaluru, May 30: Sudheer Kumar Reddy took charge as the deputy inspector general and the new commissioner of police for Mangaluru city on Friday May 30.

Mangaluru city police commissioner Anupam Agrawal was transferred and posted as deputy inspector general of police, economic offences.

Earlier in the day, Dr Arun K, IPS, officially took charge as the superintendent of police (SP) of Dakshina Kannada district, following orders from the state government and police headquarters.

In a significant reshuffle of IPS officers, the state government on Thursday announced major changes in the police leadership of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.
