Bantwal, June 1: A car overturned into a roadside drain after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle at the Alakemajalu curve on the Vittal–Puttur road late Saturday night, May 31.

The Alto car is said to have crashed into an electric pole after overturning, causing damage to both the car and the pole.

It is suspected that the occupants of the car escaped by breaking the glass.
