Karnataka state reports 1 more death due to Covid-19, 17 new cases

Bengaluru, June 1: Karnataka state reported one more death due to Covid-19 and 17 new positive cases today, marking a continued rise in infections across the state.

According to the department of health and family welfare, the latest fatality involved a patient who was on artificial oxygen support. This brings the total Covid death toll in the state to four.

The daily bulletin further stated that 17 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, while two previously infected individuals recovered. With this, the total number of active Covid cases has increased to 253.

Of the active cases, 225 are under home isolation, while three patients are currently receiving hospital treatment. Among them, one remains on oxygen support, the department added.

A total of 276 people were tested for Covid-19 in the state today, comprising 267 RT-PCR tests and 19 Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs), as per the bulletin.

 

 

 

 

 

As Covid-19 cases continue to emerge in the state, 17 new infections have been reported today.

The Department of Health and Family Welfare, in its daily bulletin, informed that 17 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. During the same period, two individuals recovered from the infection, taking the total number of active cases in the state to 253.

Among these, 225 patients are under home isolation, while three are being treated in hospitals. Of the hospitalised cases, one patient is currently on artificial oxygen support, the department said.

In a concerning update, one Covid-19 patient on oxygen support passed away today, raising the state’s Covid death toll to four.

The bulletin further mentioned that a total of 276 people were tested for Covid-19 today, including 267 RT-PCR tests and 19 Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs).

    as per reports, Kerala is the worst affected in the present outbreak (like in earlier outbreak) of Covid ... pls introduce covid checking at all border points with Kerala ... issue advisory on travel to Kerala unless absolutely necessary ...
