Karkala: Right-winger held for allegedly sharing provocative post on Facebook

Karkala, June 2: A right-wing activist has been arrested by Ajekar police for allegedly sharing provocative content on social media.

Rathnakar Amin, a right-wing activist, was taken into custody. A case has been registered at the Ajekar police station against him for allegedly posting inflammatory content on a local Facebook page, which was reportedly intended to incite communal discord between different castes and religions.

The incident took place in Marne village, which comes under the jurisdiction of the Ajekar police station. Based on the nature of the content, legal action was initiated.

The accused, Rathnakar Amin, has been taken into custody by the police and will be produced before the court.
