In the first case, the complainant, Ganesh, a conductor employed on the Jayadurga bus operating along the Aluru–Kundapura route, was reportedly assaulted on June 2, at the Hoyigehara bus stop in Aluru village.

According to the complaint, Pradeep, accompanied by five others, boarded the bus and allegedly grabbed the complainant by his shirt collar.
