Higher Primary School reopening

St Aloysius College Higher Primary School enthusiastically welcomed its students back on June 2. The reopening was marked by a special assembly designed to extend a warm greeting to all students.

The assembly commenced with a solemn prayer service, seeking blessings for a fruitful and inspiring academic year. A significant moment was the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, led by headmistress Jositta Noronha, assistant headmaster Liya D’Souza, a PTA representative, and a class 1 student. This act beautifully symbolized the shared responsibility of the school, parents, and students in the educational journey.

In her address, headmistress Jositta Noronha extended a warm welcome to the newly admitted students and introduced the new faculty members. She also expressed her sincere appreciation for the dedicated service of the teaching staff. The assembly concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the state anthem, fostering a sense of unity and pride among the students.

Kindergarten and nursery classes reopen

The younger students of St Aloysius Pre-Primary School, Karangalpady, Mangalore, returned with great excitement after their summer holidays. LKG and UKG children arrived with big smiles on their faces as classes reopened on June 3. The Nursery children joined them for their very first day of school on June 4.

Headmistress Jositta Noronha personally welcomed all the tiny tots with a comforting and cheerful demeanour. To make their first day even more special, children received handmade crafts and sweets as a token of love and encouragement. Teachers actively helped the children settle in and enjoy their initial school experience. The classrooms were thoughtfully decorated, creating a welcoming environment for the little ones. It was truly a joyful beginning to the new academic year for the pre-primary students.

The enthusiastic reopening across all sections signifies a promising start to the 2025-26 academic year at St Aloysius College Higher Primary School setting a positive tone for learning and growth.
