Lucknow, Jun 5: A horrific incident has come to light in Lucknow, where a three-year-old girl was found in critical condition after being gang-raped. The young victim is currently fighting for her life in the hospital.
The brutal assault occurred in the Alambagh area. The child was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified individuals, sexually assaulted, and then abandoned in a critical state.
Upon receiving the devastating news, senior police officials, including the GCP Central, immediately rushed to the scene to assess the situation. A case has been registered at the Alambagh police station under relevant sections.

The girl, who lives with her parents near Chandanagar Metro Station, was discovered unconscious under a metro bridge after her parents launched a frantic search when they couldn't find her in the morning.
Her parents quickly transported her to Lok Bandhu Hospital and subsequently filed a complaint with the Alambagh Police. Police arrived at the hospital to begin their investigation and ensure the child's security.
DCP Central Ashish Srivastava confirmed the incident, stating, "On June 5, information was received at Alambagh Police Station from the One Stop Centre that the two-and-a-half-year-old daughter of a couple living under the Chandanagar Metro Station was sexually assaulted."
He further added that the parents first took the child to Lok Bandhu Hospital, where doctors confirmed the assault and alerted the One Stop Centre. "The police launched an investigation after the case was filed. Five teams have been deployed. We are working to find the culprits. Our team members are also there with the victim at the hospital," Srivastava said.
Forensic teams are now on-site, collecting evidence to aid the investigation. Authorities are working diligently to apprehend those responsible for this heinous crime, and further details are anticipated as the investigation unfolds.
