Stray bull lifts, drags and tramples man in Chattarpur; shocking incident caught on CCTV

New Delhi, Jun 6: A chilling scene unfolded on the streets of Delhi’s Chattarpur locality when a man became the victim of a violent attack by a stray bull in broad daylight. The disturbing incident, captured on CCTV, has since gone viral on social media and raised serious questions over public safety and civic negligence in the national capital.

In the footage that has triggered widespread shock and condemnation, a man is seen standing quietly beside a scooter when a stray bull suddenly charges at him. In an instant, the bull lifts the unsuspecting man using its horns, slams him to the ground with brute force, and drags him to the middle of the road before trampling him repeatedly. The horrifying sequence left passers-by stunned, even as some local residents rushed in with sticks and rods to drive the animal away.

Amid the chaos, a woman attempting to scare off the bull was also attacked and pushed to the ground, narrowly escaping injury. The severely injured man was later rescued by locals and taken to a nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. His condition is reported to be stable, though he has suffered multiple injuries.

The incident, now a major talking point online, has reignited concerns over the menace of stray cattle roaming freely on busy city roads. Social media users expressed outrage over the lack of concrete measures to deal with the issue, with many questioning how long such threats to human life will be allowed to continue unchecked.

Despite the alarming nature of the attack, authorities have so far remained silent, with no statement issued by the municipal or animal control departments. Residents in Chattarpur allege that repeated complaints about stray animals in the area have fallen on deaf ears, with no effective action taken.

As the video continues to be shared widely across platforms, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the growing danger posed by stray cattle in urban areas—one that citizens are forced to navigate each day while those responsible look the other way.
