St Theresa’s School begins academic year with solemn inaugural Mass

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 6: A solemn Eucharistic celebration was held on June 6 at St Sebastian Church, Bendur parish, marking the inauguration of the new academic year at St Theresa’s School. The staff and students came together in prayerful communion, invoking god's blessings for a fruitful and grace-filled year ahead.

The holy mass was celebrated by Fr Sujay SJ, who delivered a meaningful and practical homily that left a deep impact on all present. Drawing attention to the theme 'CAP', he encouraged everyone to wear this CAP throughout the academic year:

C for curiosity to learn, A for actions beyond books, and P for pause and pray.

These three guiding principles served as a powerful spiritual and academic compass for the students and staff as they embark on a new journey of learning and growth.

The school choir enhanced the solemnity of the liturgy with their harmonious hymns, creating an atmosphere of reverence and devotion. The Mass concluded with a note of gratitude by Savita Albuquerque, followed by a thanksgiving hymn sung melodiously by the choir.

It was indeed a spiritually uplifting beginning, setting the tone for a year rooted in faith, knowledge, and values.
