Kundapur, Jun 10: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a pedestrian after an unknown vehicle hit him near Mabukala, in front of the Irody panchayat, along National Highway 66, on June 10.
The deceased is estimated to be around 35 years old, but his identity is yet to be ascertained.
The incident occurred during the early morning hours when the man was reportedly out for a walk. He was struck by an unidentified vehicle, leading to his death on the spot.
The deceased body is shifted to the Brahmavar mortuary for post-mortem examination.
Kota police visited the scene, conducted preliminary investigations, and are conducting further investigation.
