Mangaluru, Jun 11: On the 12th day of the Tredicina devotion and second day of the Triduum, St Anthony Ashram Jeppu and Milagres Shrine transformed into sacred spaces of grace, contemplation, and worship.
The day’s central Eucharistic celebrations at 11.30 am at St Anthony Ashram, Jeppu and at 6 pm at Milagres Church, led by Fr Basil Vas, parish priest of Vorkady, focused on the theme:
“Taking the Model of St Anthony, Let Us Become Workers of the Kingdom of God.”

Drawing parallels between the saint’s life and the lives of modern disciples, Fr Basil reflected on humility, bold preaching, and tireless service as essentials of kingdom-building.
Fr J B Crasta and Fr Gilbert D’Souza joined as concelebrants, enriching the liturgical celebration. Fr J B Crasta then conducted the novena, interceding for those present and offering petitions to the saint.
Morning revival at Jeppu – Evening grace at Milagres:
Earlier, Jeppu Ashram witnessed another prayer-packed morning as Br Prakash D’Souza and Fr Basil Vas led the faithful in worship, reflection, and adoration. The Ashram chapel overflowed with voices lifted in unison, resonating with healing energy.
At Milagres, from 4:00 pm, the prayerful momentum continued. Devotees, young and old, gathered for the rosary, heartfelt worship, inspiring preaching, and the Holy Mass. Each heart present seemed to respond to St Anthony’s call to serve and to surrender.
With the second day of the Triduum drawing to a close, the spiritual momentum only intensifies. The faithful, touched by the life and mission of St Anthony, are preparing themselves with eagerness and joy for the grand feast day ahead.
