Mangaluru, Jun 15: Nikhil Sonnad, a student of Expert Pre-University College, Mangaluru, has achieved a historic feat by securing the 17th rank at the all-India level and first rank in the state in the UG NEET held this year for admission to medical colleges. He achieved this by scoring 670 marks out of a total of 720.
According to the chairman of the institution, Prof Narendra L Nayak, a total of 684 students from the college scored more than 400 marks in the exam — an unprecedented achievement.

While 56% of all students who appeared for UG NEET nationwide qualified for medical education, 99% of students from Expert Pre-University College, Mangaluru qualified. “This is a testament to the quality of education at our institution,” said Prof Narendra L Nayak.
