Kadaba: Woman dies of electrocution while turning on water pump switch

Kadaba, June 17: A woman died of electrocution while attempting to switch on a water pump at Charvaka near Edamangala in Kadaba taluk on June 16.

The deceased has been identified as Jalajakshi (38), wife of Purandara from Doladi.

The incident reportedly occurred when she received an electric shock while operating the pump switch. She was immediately rushed to the Kadaba community health centre, but doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Kadaba police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
