St Theresa’s School, Bendur Rizelle Alida D’Souza shines at State-level chess championship

Mangaluru, Jun 17: Rizelle Alida D’Souza of class VI, St Theresa’s School, Bendur, made the school proud by participating in the Karnataka State chess championship in the under-11 girls’ category, held at Chikkaballapur from June 13 to 15. She performed brilliantly, securing 5th place by scoring 7 points out of 9 rounds.

With this remarkable achievement, Rizelle has been selected to represent Karnataka in the National under-11 chess championship, scheduled to be held in Maharashtra in August.

This achievement marks the fulfilment of her dream, a true reward for her dedication, determination, and hard work.

The principal and school management have congratulated to her parents for their constant support and encouragement in her journey.
