Srinivas University, Institute of Aviation Studies organises photography competition ‘Pixel voyage’

Mangaluru, Jun 18: Srinivas University, Institute of aviation studies organized a photography competition titled 'Pixel Voyage' on June 11, at the Aviation campus in Hampankatta, Mangaluru. The event was conducted under the guidance of the dean.

Dr Pavithra Kumari, head of the department, IT forum coordinator, and faculty members. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from 12 undergraduate students belonging to BBA aviation management, BBA aviation travel and tourism management, and BBA aviation and logistics management.



The primary objective of the competition was to inspire students to explore, observe, and creatively capture the world of aviation and its associated dimensions through photography. With the theme 'explore, capture, inspire', the event aimed to enhance students’ observation skills and creative expression. The participants submitted visually compelling entries that reflected their understanding of photographic composition, subject relevance, and creativity.

The competition not only provided a platform for students to showcase their talent but also highlighted the importance of visual communication in the aviation and tourism industries. Among the participants, Muhammad Mishal Siraj K P of III Year BBA aviation management secured the first place, Shaziya Zainaba of II Year BBA aviation and logistics management won the second place. The event was a great success and served as a valuable initiative to promote creative engagement among aviation students.
