New Delhi, Jun 20: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced Thursday that India will soon begin evacuating its nationals from Israel under the umbrella of Operation Sindhu, as regional tensions continue to rise between Tel Aviv and Tehran. This move comes as evacuations from Iran are already gaining momentum.
The MEA said that arrangements are being made for Indian nationals to exit Israel via land borders, followed by onward air travel to India. The Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv has taken steps to ensure their safety and welfare, and will facilitate the return of any citizen willing to come back.

Citizens have been urged to register on the embassy’s official portal if they haven’t done so already:

Ongoing Evacuation from Iran
Meanwhile, 110 Indian students were successfully evacuated from northern Iran earlier this week, with assistance from Iranian and Armenian authorities. The group, which included 90 students from Kashmir, travelled overland to Yerevan and flew out on a special flight scheduled for arrival in New Delhi on Thursday.
