Dubai, Jun 21: Konkan Yuva, the vibrant youth movement of St Mary's Catholic Church Dubai (Konkani Community), is thrilled to announce the return of one of Dubai's most awaited community sporting spectacles, the Konkan Yuva Badminton Tournament Season 5. This high-octane competitive event is set to electrify the courts this Sunday, June 22, bringing together badminton enthusiasts from across the UAE.
This annual tournament serves as a dynamic platform, not only for fierce competition but also for fostering camaraderie and community spirit. It unites members of the Konkani Catholic Community and other diverse communities & nationalities in a spirited battle for the coveted Championship Trophy of 2025. Spectators can anticipate thrilling rallies, impressive displays of skill, and an atmosphere charged with excitement.

Venue: Nibras International School, Green Community Village, DIP 1
Timings: 8 am to 5 pm
Tournament categories & participation: The tournament received an enthusiastic response this year, with over 86 doubles teams participating in the tournament, bringing the total to over 172 individual participants. The categories and team breakdown are as follows:
Men's doubles: 48 teams
Women's doubles: 12 teams
Mixed doubles: 26 teams
The tournament anticipates an overall attendance of 400–500 people at the venue, creating a lively and supportive environment for the athletes.
