Mangalore, Jun 21: Yoga and Music Day with the theme "Harmony of Mind and Melody" was observed in connection with the International Yoga Day and World Music Day at the Cultural Centre of Expert PU College, Valachil.

Ankush N Nayak, acclaimed sitar virtuoso and IT director at the Expert Group of Institutions, left the audience spellbound with a performance that seamlessly blended technical mastery and soulful expression.

He said that music has the power to soothe anxiety, uplift spirits and unite communities.

Praanik, a distinguished yoga trainer performed various asanas with effortless grace and the students followed his lead.

 Ankush N Nayak honoured Praanik with a bouquet.

Druthi V Hegde, vice principal (Admin); Jagadeesh Naik, programme director, Gurudatta N, coaching head; Anitha P Shetty, campus resident mentor were present on the occasion.
