Mangaluru, Jun 26: The investiture ceremony at Ladyhill Victoria High School was held on June 25. It was a momentous occasion that celebrated the formal induction of the newly elected student council members. The event commenced with a solemn invocation, setting a respectful and spiritual tone for the proceedings. This was followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp, performed jointly by joint secretary Sr Maria Kripa AC, the headmistress Sr Pushpa Pinto AC, and cabinet in-charge teachers Elizabeth, Manjula, and Sir Anand—symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the dawn of a new chapter.
The headmistress warmly welcomed Sr Maria Kripa AC, a renowned educator and head of the department of economics at St Agnes College, Mangaluru. Her presence added significance to the occasion.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking, during which the elected council members pledged to uphold the core values of integrity, accountability, and inclusivity. They committed themselves to serve the school community with dedication and responsibility. Following this, the headmistress and the joint secretary presented the new leaders with badges and sashes, emblematic of their esteemed roles.
In her inspiring address joint secretary Sr Maria Kripa emphasized the importance of leadership and service in fostering a cohesive and resilient school environment. Her motivational speech encouraged students to be the light that illuminates Ladyhill School and inspires others.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Simra. The smooth flow of the program was ensured by the engaging and elegant compering by Dhanwi and Andrea whose charming narration added professionalism and grace to the proceedings.
