Ghaziabad, Jun 29: In a shocking incident caught on camera, a woman was brutally thrashed with a wooden stick by a man outside a mall in Ghaziabad, triggering outrage on social media. The incident took place on June 25 near Gaur Center Mall in the city's RDC area.

The attacker, identified as Harsh, allegedly beat up Naina Verma after she got into a fight with his girlfriend, Priya. A video of the assault shows Harsh, dressed in a black t-shirt, hitting the woman multiple times with a long stick. The stick snapped on the first blow, but he continued the attack relentlessly.

According to the complaint filed by Naina Verma, she had gone to the mall with her friends Riya and Kashish when the confrontation occurred. Soon after the scuffle with Priya, her boyfriend Harsh began abusing and physically attacking her.

Verma suffered a bleeding head injury in the attack and alleged that Harsh also threatened to kill her before fleeing the spot.

“Please help me with medical assistance and take legal action against the accused,” she appealed in her complaint.

Police officials have confirmed that a case has been registered against Harsh and an investigation is currently underway.
