St Aloysius College Higher Primary School hosts investiture ceremony with fervour

Mangaluru, Jun 30: The investiture ceremony for the newly elected cabinet members of St Aloysius College Higher Primary School was held on June 29 with great enthusiasm and solemnity.

The programme commenced with a melodious prayer song presented by the students of class 6, invoking the blessings of the Almighty. Jordan of class 6 warmly welcomed the gathering and extended a cordial welcome to the dignitaries—correspondent Fr Johnson Pinto SJ, headmistress Jositta Noronha, assistant headmaster Liya D’Souza, teachers, and fellow students.

Fr Johnson Pinto, in his inspiring address, congratulated all the newly elected leaders. He emphasized that a true leader leads by example and that leadership is not about authority but about service. He invoked God's blessings upon the leaders as they embark on their new responsibilities.

Teacher Irene Pais announced the names of the cabinet members, who were then ceremoniously honoured with sashes and badges by the correspondent, headmistress, and assistant headmaster.

The following students were elected to key leadership positions:

• School Pupil Leader (SPL): Laxminaryan RJ

• Assistant SPL: Ison Mathais

• Secretary: Nidhi Kiran Sirsikar

The oath-taking ceremony was led by headmistress Jositta Noronha, who guided the leaders in pledging their commitment to their duties with integrity and dedication.

Students who had achieved excellence in the national level spell bee and the handwriting wizard competition were felicitated for their accomplishments.

The programme was efficiently compered by Riston Serrao, Sion D’Souza, and Abiel Benjon. Jasmine and Farseena delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.

The ceremony concluded with the singing of the school anthem followed by the National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among the students.
