Puttur, June 29: A collision between a jeep and a lorry occurred near Mukrampady on the Mani–Mysuru National Highway on June 29 evening, resulting in injuries to jeep driver.
The injured driver is Manoj, a resident of Devasya.
Youth Congress state general secretary Shriprasad Panaje and Puttur constituency block Congress president Farooq Perne, who were travelling on the same route, immediately rushed the injured to a private hospital in Puttur in their car.
