Beltangady, Jul 4: In a startling revelation, a complaint has been filed with the office of the superintendent of police and the Dharmasthala police station alleging a series of criminal activities that reportedly occurred in Dharmasthala village in the past.
According to the complaint submitted on July 3, the complainant claims that multiple crimes had been committed in the area and that they were forced under threat to dispose of several dead bodies in secrecy. The complainant has stated that they have disposed of several such bodies in the past under duress and are now being tormented by guilt.

The complainant has expressed willingness to reveal the identities of those involved in the crimes and point out the specific locations where the bodies were disposed of—provided they and their family are granted legal protection.
Based on the complaint, and after securing the necessary permissions from the honourable court, a case has been registered at Dharmasthala police station under Crime No. 39/2025, Section 211(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on July 4. Further legal proceedings are underway.
The complainant has specifically requested that their identity be kept confidential. Accordingly, the police have declined to disclose any personal details of the complainant.
