Indore, Jul 4: In a step towards promoting women’s empowerment in the financial sector, Aadhar Housing Finance on Friday launched its first-ever all-women-operated branch in Indore.
“This is the first among our nearly 600 branches across the country to be entirely managed by women,” said Rishi Anand, Managing Director and CEO of the company, at the inauguration event.
The newly launched branch is staffed by nine women, including the branch head and trainees. Anand also announced that 12 more such all-women branches will be opened across India during the current financial year.
The company, which currently operates 46 branches in Madhya Pradesh, has assets under management worth Rs 2,750 cr in the state. This figure is expected to reach Rs 3,200 crore by the end of the financial year, Anand added.
