MRPL launches health initiative for thalassemia and sickle cell anaemia children at Wenlock Hospital

Mangaluru, Jul 9: As part of Swachhata Pakhwada 2025, MRPL has taken an innovative initiative to boost health quality of all thalassemia and sickle cell anaemia children who completely depend on blood transfusion and iron chelation and micronutrient supplements.

To stabilise health quality of these children by giving them Energy natural protein bars [happy bars coconut almond) as weekly one till 6months for 100children at Wenlock district hospital, Mangalore.

The symbolic inauguration of the programme was attending by MRPL officials Prashanth Baliga GM, Keshav Patali Manager CSR, Dr Shivapraksh DS & superintendent, Dr Sudhakar RMO, Dr Sharath Kumar, HOD IABT, other doctors, nurses, members of Arogya Raksha Samithi.
