St Agnes CBSE shuttlers shine bright at Monsoon Badminton Championship

Mangaluru, Jul 10: Demonstrating remarkable athletic prowess and competitive finesse, students of St Agnes School (CBSE), Mangaluru, delivered a stellar performance at the Monsoon Badminton Tournament – 2K25, organised by Alva’s Education Foundation. The district-level event, held on July 6, brought together some of the finest young shuttlers from across the region.

Jehaan Isir, a grade 10A student, secured first place in the under-17 doubles category, displaying sharp reflexes, excellent court coverage, and exceptional coordination throughout the match.



Sanvi D’Souza of grade 6B emerged as a multi-category achiever, earning accolades in three divisions. She finished as the runner-up in the under-11 singles, clinched the winner’s title in the under-11 doubles, and went on to become the runner-up in the under-13 doubles. Her consistent excellence across categories reflected a rare blend of versatility, focus, and determination.

Beyond the badminton court, both Jehaan and Sanvi have consistently demonstrated commendable academic performance, embodying the ideal of a well-rounded learner. Their ability to balance sporting excellence with scholastic achievement is truly praiseworthy.

These distinguished accomplishments highlight the dedication of the students and the school’s enduring commitment to fostering sporting excellence.
