Mangaluru, Jul 14: Ryan International School, Kulai, observed Van Mahotsav on July 7 with a spirited and eco-conscious celebration, in line with the vision of its chairman, Dr A F Pinto, through the initiative “Each One Plant One.” The event aimed to raise awareness among students about the vital role of trees and the urgent need to protect the environment.
A key highlight of the celebration was a tree plantation drive conducted within the school campus. Rotary Club members from Mangalore Central, along with the school principal, section heads, and student council members, planted various saplings at selected spots, enhancing the campus’s greenery and promoting health and aesthetic value. A special song titled “Plant a Tree for Tomorrow” was performed by the school choir, adding vibrancy to the occasion.

Guests from the Rotary Club commended the school’s commitment to environmental consciousness and urged students to continue adopting sustainable practices.
The event concluded with a green pledge taken by all present, committing to planting more trees, reducing waste, and preserving nature for the well-being of future generations.
