Mangaluru, Jul 19: Exordium 2025, the much-awaited Freshers’ Day event at St Agnes PU College, unfolded with grandeur on July 18 radiating excitement, creativity, and togetherness. A day dedicated to welcoming the new batch of students, Exordium 2025 set a vibrant tone for the year ahead.
The event commenced with a soulful prayer song, invoking positivity and grace. The atmosphere quickly turned electric as the student cabinet took the stage, captivating the audience with their impressive talents and creative expressions.
The event was formally inaugurated by Christina, who warmly welcomed the gathering and underlined the spirit of inclusivity and new beginnings that Exordium embodies.
Students from various streams left the audience spellbound with engaging performances ranging from lively dance routines to powerful dramatic pieces, reflecting both teamwork and individual brilliance. Their performances celebrated talent, culture, and passion — a true display of the vibrant spirit of St Agnes PU College.
The highlight of the day was the grand finale of Ms Fresher and Mr Fresher 2025, a dazzling affair filled with glamour and confidence. Finalists impressed the crowd with their poise on the ramp, followed by a compelling Q&A round where they showcased intelligence, charm, and readiness to embark on this exciting journey.
Principal Sr Norine D’Souza honored the winners of the Exordium competitions, which were held over the course of a week, showcasing students’ diverse talents and enthusiasm. The week featured a wide range of events including face painting, wealth out of waste, treasure hunt, minute to win it, reel making and bridal makeover. Angel Aranha of BSBA was crowned Ms Fresher while Sebin Saji of SEBA ‘B’ earned the title of Mr Fresher. The principal encouraged students to make the most of the opportunities available, participate actively in academic and extracurricular activities, and uphold the values and traditions of the college. Her address set a positive and motivating tone for the start of the students’ academic journey.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Reema, expressing gratitude to the organizers, participants for making Exordium 2025 a grand success.
The event was efficiently compered by Priya, Rose, Ahlam and Hafsa, whose energy and presence kept the audience engaged and ensured the program flowed smoothly.
