Mangaluru, Jul 26: The annual general body meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association of St Aloysius Gonzaga School was held on July 26 at Loyola Hall. Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, rector of St Aloysius Institutions and chairperson of the PTA, graced the occasion and shared a message on the importance of holistic education and role of parents in the well-being of their children.
Fr Rohan D Almeida SJ, principal, in his presidential address, emphasised the Jesuit vision of educating the whole person and promoting life skills essential for success beyond academics.
















Outgoing PTA vice president Reena Noronha urged parents to place their trust in the Jesuit legacy and the teachers who play a vital role in shaping young minds.
Aparna Suresh presented a review of the previous year’s activities, followed by the annual report by Quinni Fernandes and the financial statement by treasurer Shilpa Ballal. Acquina Rebello expressed gratitude to the outgoing PTEC members, while Deepthi Karkada introduced the newly elected PTEC for 2025–26. Carol Rodrigues introduced the teachers to the gathering.
Laurel D Souza, vice-principal welcomed the gathering and Divya K proposed the vote of thanks. The event was compered by Dheeraj, and sapling distribution was held as part of the Go Green Project “Prakruthi-Care for our Common Home.”
