New Delhi, Feb 2 (PTI): Vinod Mehta today relinquished the charge as Editor-in-Chief of 'Outlook' after being in the post for 17 years.
He will continue as advisor of the magazine. Krishna Prasad, at present the Editor, will now assume the post of Editor-in-Chief. "I am still with
Outlook. I have just relinquished the day-to-day responsibilities. If somebody thinks that I am out of Outlook, they are wrong. I am still very much here," Mehta told PTI.
69-year-old Mehta, whose autobiography 'Lucknow Boy' was in the bestsellers chart recently, was the founder-editor of the weekly launched in 1995.
One of the senior-most editors of the country, Mehta has been editor of several publications, including Pioneer, The Sunday Observer, The Independent and The Indian Post.
