Mangaluru, Aug 2: Renowned Bharatnatyam dancer from Mangaluru, Remona Evette Pereira, who set a world record by performing Bharatnatyam continuously for seven days, was specially felicitated by Rohan Corporation in recognition of her exceptional achievement.
The felicitation ceremony took place at the company’s office located at Rohan City on Bejai Main Road, Mangaluru. During the event, Dr Rohan Monteiro, Founder of Rohan Corporation, honoured Remona Pereira with a certificate of appreciation and a memento.
The initiative was undertaken to encourage local talent and to bring Mangaluru’s rich art and culture to a global platform.
“Remona’s achievement has brought pride not only to Mangaluru but to the entire nation. She is an inspiration to today’s young generation,” said Dr Rohan Monteiro.
He also assured that similar platforms will continue to be provided to support such talent in the future.
