Mangaluru, Aug 4: Yellow Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in the pre-KG section of Lourdes Central School on August 2. Dressed in bright yellow outfits, the little ones brought the theme ‘Let’s Glow in Yellow’ to life. The day began with a cheerful gathering on the ground, where a group photo was taken with our Father principal, Fr Johnson L Sequeira, capturing smiles and sunshine and joyfully enjoying the themed bus ride with teachers and the principal.

Children then enjoyed a fun balloon-passing game, holding yellow balloons between their elbows and passing them without using their hands — filling the air with laughter and teamwork. Later, they moved to the Pre-Primary Hall, beautifully decorated with a yellow-themed backdrop and a vibrant display of yellow fruits, vegetables, and objects brought by the children.

Little speakers of Pre KG came forward to speak on the mic, confidently identifying yellow items like balloons, rings, and even their yellow shirts. Addressing the little children, principal Fr Johnson L Sequeira said that we should always glow and spread our sunshine smiles, just like the bright and cheerful yellow colour.

To wrap up the celebration, children brought yellow themed snacks and created cheerful corn crafts using yellow fingerprint painting, making for a colourful and creative end to a bright and beautiful day.
