Mangaluru, Aug 2: The ayurveda and panchakarma department of Dr Thunga's Manaswini Hospital, successfully organized a free bone density checkup camp in collaboration with Medilab.

A large number of public participated in the camp, availed free checkup services and became aware of their health.

The programme was inaugurated by the medical director of the hospital, Dr Ravisha Tunga Airodi, by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, he said, "Manaswini Hospital is not limited to the treatment of mental health only. It is also playing a major role in improving physical health through Ayurveda and Panchakarma." He shared important thoughts about the future direction of the hospital.

The camp was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr Raviganesh Mogra, head of the ayurveda department. He conducted check-ups, consulted with the patients and distributed free medicines.

The programme was attended by the principal of Manaswini Nursing College, Bridget D'Silva, vice principal Ashwath, hospital councilors and staff.
