Obscene video on YouTube: Case filed against Puneeth Kerehalli in Beltangady

Beltangady, Aug 7: A case has been registered against Puneeth Kerehalli at Beltangady police station for allegedly uploading an obscene video on YouTube.

The complaint was filed by Jerome Barboza (37), a resident of Kasaba village in Beltangady. According to the FIR, on August 7, while Jerome was browsing messages on Facebook using his mobile phone, he came across a video posted by the accused that contained vulgar and obscene language.

Based on the complaint, a case has been registered under Section 296 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, at Beltangady police station (Crime No: 80/2025). Further investigation is underway.
