Mumbai: Bunts Sangh Organizes Annual Sports Meet

Mumbai,  Feb 3: The metro-based Bunts Sangh organized its annual sports meet at S M Shetty Education Institutions grounds, Powai, on Sunday January 29.

Federation of World Bunts Association president Ajit Kumar Rai Malady inaugurated the annual sports meet on Sunday morning.

Bunts Sangh president chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty presided over the programme.

D Y Patil University vice chancellor Dr Vijay Patil was the chief guest who inaugurated the sports meet by releasing balloons.

Bunts Sangh former presidents B Vivek Shetty, Sudhakar S Hegde, Dr P V Shetty and Aikala Harish Shetty, vice-president Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, former honorary chief secretaries V K Shetty and Mahesh S Shetty, joint treasurer Praveen B Shetty, Nagriguttu Vivek Shetty, women’s wing president Lata P Shetty, and youth wing president Shivaprasad Shetty were present at the dais.

The members of Bombay Bunts Association, JAVAB, Mulund Bunts, and Thane Bunts participated in the annual sports meet.

Sports committee president Vittal S Alva welcomed the gathering.  Suresh L Shetty rendered the prayers.  Ashok Pakkala and Harish Vasu Shetty compered the programme.  Honorary chief secretary Sadashiv B Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
