Mangalore, Feb 3: Karnataka Christian Educational Society, (KACES), as part of its mandate on peace initiatives is spearheading an event titled 'Saamarasya 2012', a festival of living and celebrating together for peace with the organization Interfaith Coalition for peace, New Delhi. The event will be held on Sunday February 5 at the KACES ground, Balmatta, here. Many prestigious artistes, music groups and cultural groups will be performing for the event.

Dr Syed Zafar Mohamood, president, Interfaith Coalition for Peace will inaugurate the Peace festival. Rev Dr Samuel Packium, general secretary and treasurer, Interfaith Coalition for Peace will be the chief guest. Jagadish R, chairman, Shalom Social Trust, Fr Roney Prabhu, director, Fatima Retreat House and Prof M B Puranik, president of Sharada Group of Institutions will be the guests of honour. Dr Honey Cabral, secretary, KACES will preside.

Rev Dr Hannibal Cabral, secretary, KACES, Rev James P C, director Sahodaya and warden of KACES Hostel, Rev Sandeep Theophil, P R O, KACES and Chethan R Principal HTTI were present at the press conference.

The cultural program will be performed by CSI Sushanthi Church, Sunday School, Mercara Hill.
