Young author Reshel Bretny Fernandes honoured with 'Patriot of India' Award

Mangaluru, Aug 11: Young author Reshel Bretny Fernandes has been awarded the prestigious "Patriot of India" Award for her book Bharat at 2047: Role of Youth.

The honour was bestowed by the Tagore Research and Educational Training Organisation (TRET), New Delhi, under its digital initiative recognising authors contributing to nation-building.

The award was presented as part of the Independence Day celebrations, applauding Fernandes as the first young author to pen a book on this significant topic.

The work received praise from the prime minister and president of India, who lauded her efforts in inspiring the youth toward the country’s future.
