Beltangady, Aug 12: Police have registered an attempt to murder case at Dharmasthala police station after a man was allegedly attacked at Pangala Cross on August 6.
The victim, identified as Jayant T from Ichilampady in Kadaba, was allegedly assaulted by a group of miscreants who, he states, attempted to kill him.
Police said the spot was the same location where YouTubers were assaulted earlier on the same day.
A separate case (Crime No 46/25) had been filed in connection with that incident, and investigation is underway.
