Hyderabad, Aug 12: A violent clash between two groups of college students in Hyderabad’s LB Nagar area has been caught on CCTV, revealing scenes of kicks, punches and slaps being exchanged in what police have described as a “gang war.”

The incident, involving students from Avinash College, took place on Friday and came to light after the video went viral. In one clip, a man is seen being surrounded and assaulted by multiple students. He attempts to flee into the college building but is dragged back and thrashed, even as security staff and bystanders try to intervene.

Police said 15 students have been charged in connection with the incident, while the motive behind the clash is still under investigation. Officials are also working to identify other individuals involved.

Authorities have assured that they are coordinating with the college administration to enhance student safety and curb such rivalries, aiming to prevent similar incidents in the future.
