These spirited marches, echoing chants of “Jai Hind” and “Vande Mataram”, aimed to unite citizens and rekindle national pride.

In the capital, the Delhi Traffic Police led a vibrant rally involving schoolchildren, who marched hand-in-hand with officers while waving the Tricolour. The event sought to deepen the bond between the youth and law enforcement, while instilling a sense of patriotic duty.
???? Jammu & Kashmir: Unity on Display in Ramban
In Ramban, Deputy Commissioner Mohd Alyas Khan flagged off a large rally at 8 a.m., featuring over 1,000 participants including personnel from the CRPF 84 Battalion, local police, civil administration, students, NGOs, and citizens. The procession wound through the town with powerful slogans and unwavering enthusiasm.
“The Tiranga is sacred to us. We are ready to make any sacrifice to keep it flying high,” said N. Ranbir Singh, Commandant of CRPF’s 84 Battalion, addressing reporters after the march.
???? Jharkhand: CRPF Leads Motorcycle Yatra in Garhwa
In Garhwa, the 172 Battalion of the CRPF led a Tiranga Yatra on motorcycles from its Kalyanpur headquarters. Riders adorned with national flags toured the district, rallying through landmarks like China Road, Ghanta Ghar, and Majhiaon Turn. The rally's purpose was to stir patriotic sentiment and honour national heroes.
???? Sikkim: Cultural Splendour in Gangtok
Gangtok hosted a Har Ghar Tiranga rally that blended tradition and patriotism. The event saw the presence of Governor Om Prakash Mathur, Chief Minister Prem Singh, cabinet ministers, lawmakers, and hundreds of locals. The one-kilometre walk from MG Marg to Manan Kendra featured cultural performances, patriotic songs, and marches by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and local artists, turning the rally into a celebration of unity in diversity.
From the streets of Delhi to the hills of Gangtok, these rallies set the tone for the August 15 celebrations, rekindling the spirit of freedom and honouring the sacrifices of those who fought for India’s independence.
